EEG SUITE

Collect EEG data for your project in one of our shielded rooms

The Staglin Center for Cognitive Neuroscience hosts two fully shielded EEG rooms. One houses a Bio-Semi 64 channel EEG system using active gel electrodes. The second houses Magstim/Electrical Geodesics, Inc. (EGI) GES300/400 128/256-channel, high-density array, saline-electrode systems. Each EEG suite includes computer systems for stimulus delivery and response recording, and supporting the same stimulus and recording software available in the MRI labs, thus providing the experimenter with a seamless transition across data collection modalities. EEG facilities include a dedicated prep room.

The Staglin Center also supports multimodal imaging, which includes simultaneous EEG-fMRI

CCN uses two MRI-compatible EEG systems for 128-electrode high-density (EGI GES400 MR) data collection, which include physiological recording capacity and time synchronization with the MR clock. The system is complemented by a data acquisition computer and recording suite, with temporal synchronization between signals, and seamless integration with several stimulus presentation suites.
