Collect EEG data for your project in one of our shielded rooms
Within the Staglin Center for Cognitive Neuroscience there are two fully shielded EEG rooms. One houses a Bio-Semi 64 channel EEG system using active gel electrodes. The second houses Magstim/Electrical Geodesics, Inc. (EGI) GES300/400 128/256-channel, high-density array, saline-electrode systems. Each EEG suite includes computer systems for stimulus delivery and response recording, and supporting the same stimulus and recording software available in the MRI labs, thus providing for the experimenter a seamless transition across data collection modalities. EEG facilities include a dedicated prep room.

The Staglin Center also supports multimodal imaging, which includes simultaneous EEG-fMRI
The CCN also has two MRI compatible EEG systems for 128-electrode high-density (EGI GES400 MR) data collection, that include time synchronization with the MR clock, and physiological recording capacity. The system is complemented by a data acquisition computer, and recording suite, with temporal synchronization between signals, and seamless integration with several stimulus presentation suites.
